Arbitrum Wallet: Send ETH and USDC, Bridge and Withdraw Safely

An Arbitrum wallet is any Ethereum-style wallet that can hold and send ETH and tokens on Arbitrum One, an optimistic rollup that settles on Ethereum. You use the same 0x address you have on Ethereum, and you pay every fee in ETH. Transfers cost a fraction of a cent, and the sequencer confirms them in under a second.

Three things trip up new Arbitrum wallet users. Exchanges list several networks with similar names, stablecoins come in more than one version, and the official bridge back to Ethereum takes about seven days. Once you know those, Arbitrum is one of the easiest networks to use. Figures below are as of October 2026.

Arbitrum One at a glance#

How an Arbitrum wallet works#

Arbitrum One runs Ethereum's account model on its own chain. It bundles thousands of transactions and posts them to Ethereum. Results count as correct unless someone challenges them in time, which is why it's called optimistic. That challenge window is also why withdrawals to Ethereum take a week.

Your Arbitrum One wallet address#

Your Arbitrum One wallet address is the same 0x address you use on Ethereum, Base or any other EVM network, because it comes from the same key. Keylo derives it on m/44'/60'/0'/0/0, the path MetaMask uses for its first account. To find it, open Arbitrum One in your asset list or tap Receive.

The address is the same, but the balances are not. ETH at your address on Ethereum doesn't appear on Arbitrum until you bridge it. There is no activation deposit, no memo and no minimum balance to keep the account alive.

Arbitrum One vs Arbitrum Nova#

Arbitrum Nova is a separate, much smaller chain (chain ID 42170) built for cheap gaming and social apps. Your address has its own balance there. Arbiscan stopped covering Nova on January 31, 2026, and in June 2026 the Arbitrum DAO voted to shrink Nova to a maintenance-only chain. Funds on Nova can still be withdrawn through the Arbitrum Portal.

Keylo supports Arbitrum One, not Nova. If an exchange offers both, choose Arbitrum One unless you know you need Nova.

How to choose an Arbitrum wallet#

Any EVM wallet can be an Arbitrum wallet, so the choice comes down to what you plan to do there.

• Extension and mobile wallets. MetaMask becomes an Arbitrum wallet once Arbitrum One is added as a network, in the extension or the phone app, and Arbitrum's own docs walk through it. Rabby, an extension made for EVM chains, works too. Both sign in to Arbitrum's DeFi apps, which is the main reason people use the chain.

• Hardware wallets. Devices such as Ledger keep the key off your computer and pair with a software wallet. They suit large balances.

• Exchange accounts. The exchange holds the keys and decides when you can withdraw.

• Web wallets. These run in a browser tab with nothing to install. Keylo is one.

A good Arbitrum wallet already knows the network, shows the full fee and warns you when a recipient is a contract. It also displays token contracts, so you can tell USDC from USDC.e. For DeFi, it should let you revoke token approvals.

Keylo suits people who want to hold ETH and stablecoins on Arbitrum, send them, and swap or bridge between networks. It isn't the right tool for lending markets or perpetual exchanges, because Keylo can't connect to dapps. If that's your plan, use an extension wallet for those apps.

How to create an Arbitrum wallet in Keylo#

Keylo runs in the browser on a phone or computer, so there's nothing to download and no network to add: Arbitrum One is already in the list.

1. Open the sign-up page and enter your full name, email, phone number and a password. Then tap Create account.

2. Confirm your email address if Keylo asks you to check your inbox.

3. Choose Create a new wallet. Your browser generates a 12-word recovery phrase and encrypts it with a key derived from your password (Argon2id, then AES-256-GCM). Only the encrypted copy leaves your device.

4. Open Arbitrum One from your asset list to see your 0x address.

5. Back up the phrase. Go to Settings, open Recovery phrase, enter your password and tap Show my phrase. Write the 12 words on paper, tap I wrote them down, then confirm three of them.

6. In Settings, turn on two-factor authentication and set an anti-phishing code.

Keylo can't recover a lost wallet. A password reset by email doesn't decrypt it; only your recovery phrase can.

Importing a wallet from MetaMask#

Choose Import a recovery phrase and enter your 12 or 24 words. Keylo uses the standard EVM path, so your first MetaMask account appears with the same address and Arbitrum balance. Keylo shows only that account; any others stay in MetaMask, untouched.

Practice on Arbitrum Sepolia#

Turn on Testnet mode under Settings, then Networks, and Keylo adds Arbitrum Sepolia. Its ETH has no value, so take some from a public faucet and practice.

How to receive ETH and USDC on Arbitrum#

1. Tap Receive and choose Arbitrum One. The screen reads "Receive on Arbitrum One" and shows a QR code with your address.

2. Tap Copy or Share, or let the sender scan the code.

3. On an exchange, choose Arbitrum One as the withdrawal network. Some exchanges shorten the name, so make sure you aren't picking Nova.

4. Watch your balance. Arbitrum confirms in under a second, but exchanges add their own processing time.

Keylo's Receive screen reminds you that your Arbitrum wallet address is the same on every EVM network. If a sender picks Ethereum, Base or another network Keylo supports, the funds arrive on that network, and you can bridge them over.

Nova is the exception. Funds sent to your address on Arbitrum Nova are safe, but Keylo can't show or move them, so you'd need a wallet that supports Nova.

Check your Arbitrum wallet on Arbiscan#

Keylo has no explorer index for Arbitrum One, so its Activity list shows only transfers you send from Keylo. A deposit shows up as a higher balance, not as a new entry. To see the incoming transaction, open Arbitrum One in Keylo and tap the link icon next to your address. Arbiscan then lists every transfer in and out.

How to send ETH and tokens on Arbitrum#

1. Tap Send and pick ETH or a token on Arbitrum One.

2. In To, use the paste button or scan the recipient's QR code. Keylo checks the address format and its checksum.

3. Enter an amount or tap Max. For ETH, Max keeps back enough for the network fee.

4. Tap Review, then choose Slow, Normal or Fast.

5. Check the review screen. It shows the network, the full recipient address with the first and last six characters in bold, and the fee in ETH and dollars.

6. Tap Send. Keylo signs in your browser, then shows "On its way" and "Sent", with a View on Arbiscan link.

What Keylo checks before you sign#

Keylo simulates each Arbitrum transfer first. If it would fail, Keylo stops it, so you don't pay a fee for nothing. It also catches these mistakes:

• No ETH for gas. Sending a token with no ETH on Arbitrum shows "You need some ETH on Arbitrum One to pay the network fee."

• A contract as recipient. Tokens sent to a contract that doesn't expect them are usually lost, so Keylo warns you.

• The token's own contract. Keylo blocks this common copy-and-paste error.

• A wrong-network address. A Solana or Bitcoin address gets a clear message instead of a send.

ENS names like alice.eth work as recipients only when you send on Ethereum in Keylo. On Arbitrum, paste the 0x address.

Sending USDC on Arbitrum to Coinbase or another exchange#

An exchange credits only the tokens and networks it lists. Open its deposit page, pick USDC, choose Arbitrum One and copy the address it gives you. Exchanges support Circle's native USDC, not USDC.e. If the page doesn't offer Arbitrum One for that token, don't send it on Arbitrum.

Arbitrum network fees and gas#

Every Arbitrum transaction pays for two things, both in ETH. The first is execution on Arbitrum itself, priced with a base fee that rises when the network is busy. The second is the cost of posting your compressed transaction to Ethereum.

Arbitrum folds that Ethereum part into extra gas units instead of a separate line. That's why a simple ETH transfer can show more than Ethereum's 21,000 gas. The Arbitrum gas documentation explains the formula.

Arbitrum network fees are very low as of October 2026. On October 24, Arbiscan's gas tracker showed a gas price of 0.02 gwei, about $0.003 for a token transfer and $0.009 for a swap. Keylo adds nothing to a normal send.

Since late September 2026, Arbitrum One has sorted transactions by priority fee in 125-millisecond rounds, replacing its Timeboost auctions. A transaction with a zero tip still gets in, usually within a couple of blocks. Keylo's Slow, Normal and Fast options scale the tip the network suggests. On Arbitrum that suggestion is usually zero, so all three often cost the same.

If a transaction ever sits pending, the done screen offers Speed up, which resends it with a higher fee.

USDC, USDT0 and other tokens on Arbitrum One#

Keylo checks a built-in list of popular ones on Arbitrum One, including USDC, USDC.e, USDT0, ARB, WETH and WBTC, but it doesn't scan for anything else here. To add another token, go to Settings, then Networks, and tap Add token under Custom tokens. Pick Arbitrum One and type the contract address, symbol and decimals shown on Arbiscan.

Name and logo prove nothing, because anyone can deploy a token called USDC. Compare the contract address with these:

• USDC 0xaf88d065e77c8cC2239327C5EDb3A432268e5831 comes from Circle and is the version exchanges support.

• USDC.e 0xff970a61a04b1ca14834a43f5de4533ebddb5cc8 is older USDC bridged from Ethereum. Circle doesn't issue it, and its contract still calls itself USDC.

• USDT0 0xFd086bC7CD5C481DCC9C85ebE478A1C0b69FCbb9 is Tether's USDT on Arbitrum, and its contract spells the symbol USD₮0. You receive it at your normal 0x address; there's no separate USDT address.

• ARB 0x912CE59144191C1204E64559FE8253a0e49E6548 is the governance token. It's native to Arbitrum One and can't pay gas.

USDC and USDC.e are both meant to be worth a dollar, but they're different tokens. Sending USDC.e to an exchange that only credits native USDC can mean a slow recovery request. If you hold USDC.e, swap it to USDC first. Arbitrum's USDC guide has the background.

How to bridge to and from Arbitrum#

The official Arbitrum bridge is slow in one direction. Deposits from Ethereum usually arrive in 15 to 30 minutes, but withdrawals wait out a challenge period of about seven days. Then you claim the funds with a second transaction on Ethereum, paying mainnet gas. The Arbitrum bridge docs describe both flows.

Keylo gets bridge quotes from LI.FI, which compares bridges such as Across and Stargate. These pay you from their own liquidity on the other side, so you skip the seven-day wait. Most routes between EVM networks take a few minutes, and each quote shows its own estimate.

1. Tap Swap. Under You pay, pick ETH or a token on Arbitrum One, or on the network you're coming from.

2. Under You receive, choose the destination network and token.

3. Compare the routes by amount, time and fees.

4. Check Minimum you receive and Delivered to, which names your own address on the destination network.

5. If you're spending a token, Keylo first asks you to approve exactly that amount, then to confirm the bridge.

6. Tap Bridge and follow it on the tracking screen.

A bridge either delivers or returns your funds, sometimes as a different token that still lands in your wallet. Any Keylo service fee appears as its own line in the quote. What Keylo doesn't do on Arbitrum#

Arbitrum is mostly a DeFi chain, and that's where Keylo's limits matter most.

• No dapp connections. There's no browser extension and no WalletConnect, so Arbitrum lending, perpetuals and DEX sites are out of reach. Keylo's own swap screen covers swaps and bridges.

• No incoming history or token scan. Activity lists only your own sends from Keylo, and tokens outside the built-in list need adding by hand.

• No official-bridge claims. Claiming a withdrawal on the Arbitrum bridge site needs a wallet that connects to it.

• No staking of ETH or ARB. Keylo stakes only on Cosmos SDK chains.

• No NFTs. Keylo has no NFT view on Arbitrum One and can't send NFTs.

• No hardware wallets and no card purchases. Buy ETH on an exchange and withdraw it on Arbitrum One.

Keylo is non-custodial, so if you lose both your password and your recovery phrase, nobody can open the wallet. The networks page lists everything Keylo supports.

Arbitrum scams and mistakes to avoid#

Most losses from an Arbitrum wallet come from signing the wrong thing or sending on the wrong network, not from the chain itself.

• Approval and signature phishing. Drainer sites ask you to approve a token or sign a "permit" message, then empty the token. Keylo can't sign requests from websites, and its own swaps approve only the amount you swap.

• Fake ARB airdrops. Claim links in direct messages, search ads or token names lead to drainers. A real claim never needs your recovery phrase.

• Address poisoning. Scammers send tiny or zero-value transfers from addresses that match the start and end of ones you use, so a fake turns up in your Arbiscan history. Copy each recipient from where you first got it.

• The wrong network or token version. Choose Arbitrum One, not Nova, and match USDC with USDC rather than USDC.e.

• Fake support. Keylo staff never ask for your phrase or password. Reach the team through the Keylo support page, and read how Keylo protects your wallet.

Before your first real transfer, check this list:

1. Your recovery phrase is on paper, and you've confirmed it in Keylo.

2. You hold a little ETH on Arbitrum One for gas.

3. The exchange withdrawal network says Arbitrum One.

4. The token contract matches the one the recipient expects.

5. You sent a small test amount before a large one.
